The objectives of this introductory unit include:
- An understanding of the key elements of communication
- What is networking?
- How to get the most out of an interview
- Enhanced oral presentation skills
Students will conduct interviews and present subject to class in 3-5 minute oral presentation. Particular emphasis will be placed on:
- Active listening skills
- Non-verbal cues
- Paraphrasing
